the bengal® stackable cage system is a radiolucent, multilevel corpectomy solution that provides a system approach to restoring natural lordosis. the bengal stackable cage system offers versatility in footprint options (3 are available), height options (18 to 66 mm in 2-mm increments), and lordotic angle options. the bengal stackable cage system instruments include the lordotic vertebral body distractor, which further assists a surgeon in restoring natural lordosis, as well as a new caliper to assist in determining height selection. anatomical restoration bengal stackable cage system implants are available in 3 sizes: std (12 mm x 14 mm), lrg (14 mm x 16 mm), and xlg (16mm x 18mm). the std (12 mm x 14 mm) implants are available in single-piece units, in heights ranging from 18 to 66 mm in 2-mm increments with 3 lordotic options: 0°/0°, 0°/6°, 6°/0°. the lrg (14 mm x 16 mm) and xlg (16 mm x 18 mm) are available in stackable implants and have top and bottom end pieces available in 3 heights (9, 11, and 13 mm), and middle pieces available in 4 heights (10, 20, 30, and 40 mm). these components can be stacked together to create implants ranging in height from 18 to 66 mm in 2-mm increments. lordotic end pieces are available in 0°, 4°, 8°, and 12° tops and 0°, 4°, and 8° bottoms. one stackable implant can include up to 20° of lordosis. titanium locking screw the stackable cages (lrg and xlg) are held together by a titanium locking screw and nut. there are 2 sizes available: 42 mm screw/nut, which is appropriate for contructs 18 to 42 mm in height, and 66 mm, appropriate for constructs from 42 to 66 mm in height. the titanium locking screw must be used for all
